Former Sydney Adviser, Jim Pavlidis, Banned for Three Years
Former Sydney financial advisor, Jim Pavlidis, has been banned by ASIC for three years due to failure to maintain proper records, providing advice not in clients’ best interest, and lacking the necessary qualifications.
The Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) has banned Jim Pavlidis, a former Sydney financial advisor from providing financial services for the next three years.
The ASIC reviewed advice Mr Pavlidis had given clients between 2004 and 2018. They found Mr Pavlidis had failed to keep proper records and gave clients financial advice that was not in their best interest. Furthermore, the ASIC found Mr Pavlidids was not adequately trained and did not hold the proper requirements required to provide financial services.
At this time, Pavlidis is now on the Banned and Disqualified Persons Register.
