Notice to Investors in the First Guardian Master Fund
FD Legal is investigating claims from investors advised to invest in First Guardian Master Fund. Falcon Capital has suspended transactions, raising investor concerns. ASIC obtained asset freezing orders amid investigations.
FD Legal are investigating claims on behalf of investors who received advice to invest into First Guardian Master Fund (First Guardian). We have spoken with investors who received advice from their Financial Advisor to invest into First Guardian. However, with Falcon Capital (the responsible entity of First Guardian) suspending applications and withdrawals from First Guardian, investors are now worried that all or part of their investment may have been lost.
It appears that ASIC also has concerns with First Guardian with ASIC successfully obtaining freezing orders in the Federal Court against the assets of Falcon Capital and director David Anderson. According to ASIC’s website ASIC sought the orders to “help protect investor funds while an investigation is continuing”.
If you were advised to invest in the First Guardian by your financial advisor, we ask that you contact Financial Dispute Legal to discuss your circumstances and consider any rights to recover compensation on 1800 891 924 or enquiry@fdlegal.com.au
